I am publishing them. Here. 🤓😈🤓 I’ve already been agented, worked with an editor from Random House, got punched and slammed back onto disability in the middle of it, had to let all that go, had another TBI from somebody ramming me at a stop sign, did massive instruction in self publishing, realized it’s the exact same dream job I had to let go of as an indie dancer—just on steroids, tried to get Voc Rehab to help me figure out how I could do it on my disabilities, got tested and trialed and worked with them for 5 years until they had to close my case as a lost cause last year.
Because I can write. I can dance (when I’m not being hammered by huge fists, drunk drivers, or government agencies who lied when they said they were there to help me).
But my brain can no longer do the *business* aspects of running my own business, and I can’t do half the job expected by even a traditional publisher, much less self-publishing. What I REALLY need is a marketer, a social media liaison, and a visionary videographer. But those cost money and I can’t even pay my electric or trash bills right now. Or I need some philanthropic, super generous, super connected soul who believes in my arts to run a Kickstarter for me and build their pay into it. 🤣🙃🤪
So I throw my gazillions of words onto Substack before they all die with me. Shrug?? Best I got. 🤪 As such, I’m thrilled for y’all who are enjoying this tale while I can still share things here. (I’m about to lose internet in April when they axe the Affordable Connectivity Act so…we’ll see what’s on my horizon.) ✨🥰✨
